106 Radio is a non-profit Internet Radio Station completely supported by you, the members. Many Internet Radio Stations have web sites, servers and Internet bandwidth donated by it's members. We pride ourselves on being run and owned as a community, and not by a few power-hungry members. This means that we need you to be a part of that community. We encourage every member to contribute to the community in any way that they can. Since we do not have our servers or bandwidth donated, we have to pay our bills every month to keep things going. For those of you who can, we ask that you make a monetary contribution in whatever denomination you'd like. Every little bit counts.

Q: Will I get in trouble for listening?
A: NO! 106 Rock Radio is not allowing you to download or trade music files. Recording of 106radio.com stream is not allowed by law.
Q: Is this Legal?
A: 106 Rock Radio streams LEGALLY. We are required to pay royalties to
 which collects a performance royalty paid to Artists, Musicians, Producers.
In addition we are required to pay royalties to ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC all of which collect for songwriters and publishers.
About 6 out of 10 internet radio stations stream and to not play buy to rules. Please make sure you support webcasters that stream legally. Q: Why is 106 Rock Radio not on FM Radio?
A: We are not authorized by the FCC to broadcast and there are currently no plans to make additional spots on the dial available for 106radio.com.
We would love to bring our format of music to the airwaves.
Q: How can I buy a commercial for my shop, store, or place of business on 106radio.com?
A: The purchase of audio commercials on 106radio.com is currently available.
Banner advertising is also available for a very reasonable price.
